NW Call to Action
Circle of Influence
I’ve pointed this out quite a few times over the years, and it has never been truer than today.
Consistently, the farm operators who ask the most questions of me and request the most feedback on their operation are the most successful financially. These are often eight figure net worth ($10,000,000+) operators who have been in the business anywhere from 10 to 30 years, and they are asking me, a lender and part-time farmer, for advice on their operation.
Why do they do this?
They are hungry for knowledge. They know:
they don’t know everything
times change quickly
they need to know what other operators are doing to find their own success
they need to know what other operators are trying and failing at.
Instead of these top-notch producers spending years of trial and error, they cut corners and talk to me. I can share with them what has worked for other producers and what is not working well. I can also point out red flags in their operation before they see it. They take those lessons and implement them immediately, ending up years ahead of the curve and in front of trends. Pretty smart, right?
When you are working with other top-notch individuals, 1+1 = 3. The sum of two individuals brainstorming and working together is greater than the output you would otherwise get. And the results follow suit. Suddenly you are buying two farms instead of one, adding multiple employees and diversifying into unimagined profit levels through new ideas and relationships you didn’t previously have access to.
This is why I am creating Yield Circle.
I’m bringing knowledgeable, humble, and success driven operators together to create returns that are a multiple of the sum of our parts.
Yield Circle will be a peer group built to overcome your operation’s biggest management, financial, and mental challenges through support and accountability. Expect to be exposed to new ideas for growth and expedited financial results through monthly commitment and accountability within the group.
To give everyone enough time to focus on their operation, I’m keeping Yield Circle 6 participants.
If you are interested in accountability, quicker results, and a new inner circle of farming peers, then this might be the match for you. I will be reviewing applications on a first-come, first-serve basis and not everyone will get in. If you are hungry and humble, check out the form available this week only.
P.S.
This is not an agronomy peer group. We will be focused on financial and management decisions, along with other day-to-day struggles that come with running a top-notch farming operation. My hope is the yield returns for every individual in the group grows exponentially as we work together, overcoming obstacles and increasing profits.
P.P.S.
What’s also interesting is that operations of a similar size or net worth tend to run in the same circle. They have the same problems and can relate to other people’s solutions within their circle of influence. They are comfortable in discussion and can connect with their inner circle at a deeper level. This is Yield Circle.
Make it a great day.
Grant
